Dynamic Texture Readouts

The team decided to incorporate a mostly HUD-less environment, in order to better immerse the player in the environment. When the player is wearing SCUBA equipment, he or she will be able to  quickly see the current depth, dive time, and tank pressue, important information that every diver must keep track of.

Mid-Game Menu Additions

The mid game menus "Artifacts Recovered" and "History" were added to provide more information to the player and a list of accomplishments for the player. During the game the player can press "Esc" to bring up this menu. The history provides more information about each artifact the player has recovered.

Credits and Controls

These scenes are pretty self explanatory. Credits give names of the team members and positions, as well as a special thanks to people the team worked closely with. The controls scene was made and can be accessed via Main Menu or holding the "F1" key during gameplay. This scene was made with our target audience of middle school students in mind.

Random Backgrounds in Main Menu

The Main Menu scene acts as a movie of three different levels. It randomizes the scene and therefore the background video played. This provides more variety for the player and different visuals that the player wouldn't expect to get.
